Deadlines

Entry forms will be available After June 6th, 2025.

Entry forms will close on July 12, 2025 at 6 pm.

Rules & Regulations

  • The model must be created with plastic model;

  • The model must be made by the contestant;

  • The model must be in dimensions no larger than 50cm x 50cm x 50cm (19.68in x 19.68in x 19.68in);

  • Contestant must be 15 years or older;

  • Contestant must acknowledge the rules and regulations of the contest;

 

Contestant work, description and other details which are against any rules and regulations from this contest and convention will be forfeited from the contest without any prior notice.

Submitting Entries 

Entries can be submitted online prior to the event, or on site. On site submissions will open Friday at 2pm during the event. Please refer to our maps once released for location information. Entries will no longer be accepted past 6:00pm on Saturday.

 Contestants will have ten minutes to do final positioning after the model is checked in at the contest.

Sportsmanship

Poor Sportsmanship is grounds for disqualification from future Tokyo, OK/OS4CA contests, and will render you ineligible for future contests. Be gracious with the placement that you have received. Bullying any contestant or staff is strictly prohibited.

 

Bullying of any kind is not tolerated. If there is evidence of bullying occurring, the constant/attendee will be disqualified and barred from the competition, and may result in your badge/pass/membership revoked. 

Be kind to others who have put hard work, effort and time into their entries.

Judging Criteria

Judging will take place by 7pm on Saturday. Entries will be judged on craftsmanship, painting and idea (concept).

​SPECIAL JUDGING OPTION FOR 2025!

Gunpla models that specifically incorporate the 2025 theme can be included for an additional special judging option for each category.

 

Winner Announcement & Prizes

Announcement of Winners:

Winners will be posted at the Gunpla display area by 12pm, Sunday. They will also be announced during final ceremonies. 

If a category only receives one entry, the winner will receive prize support selected by the judges.

  

Prize packs can be picked up from 12pm – 4pm, Sunday, at the Gunpla display area.

 

Post Contest

Picking Up Your Model:

All entries may be picked up Sunday, from 12pm – 4pm unless other arrangements have been made prior to that time. Any artwork that is not picked up becomes the property of OS4CA.

Iron Gunpla Contest

​

For 2024, we have added a kitbash event! Kitbashing - taking parts from different Gunpla kits, and making a new model out of the parts.
Two events will be held during the weekend. Maximum of four (4) entrants per event.
Sign-ups for Iron Gunpla will be on site. Check out our map for the contest location!


The first Iron Gunpla will occur Saturday at 11am.
The Second will occur Saturday at 2pm.​

​

  • Entrants will be given two kits

  • Entrants will be given 3 hours to complete the kitbash

  • Entrants must produce a final model at the end of the time to be considered or a prize

  • A judging panel will be providing a score at the end of the event - Criteria will include craftsmanship and concept

  • Prizes will be given based upon points awarded. All entrants will get to keep the final model and all leftover materials at the end of the event
