Autograph Policy
OS4CA is committed to protecting the safety, comfort, and professional dignity of every Guest invited to our events. Attendees are strictly prohibited from presenting lewd, obscene, or pornographic images, objects, or materials, real or digitally generated, for autographs or signatures. This includes AI-generated, digitally altered, or otherwise manipulated content.
No warnings will be given.
Guest Handlers and Safety Team members inspect items before they reach a Guest. Prohibited materials will be removed from the signing line, and attendees who refuse to comply may be removed from the event.
Guests always retain the right to decline to sign any item, for any reason, without pressure or penalty from staff, vendors, or fellow attendees.
Prohibited Materials
Attendees may not present the following — or anything substantially similar — to a Guest for a signature:
-
Nude or sexually explicit photographs, whether real, digitally altered, or AI-generated
-
Sexually explicit artwork or illustrations
-
Pornographic magazines or publications
-
Any object of a sexual nature
This prohibition applies regardless of the medium or how the material was produced.
-
Vendors, Artists, and Exhibitors who hold an OS4CA permit may sell or display mature materials at their booths, provided they meet all applicable organizational and legal requirements.
-
These items may never be presented to a Guest for a signature, under any circumstance even with a permit.
What Happens If You Break This Policy?
-
Every Guest — including industry professionals, performers, and featured speakers — retains full discretion to decline to sign any item, for any reason. Guests will never be pressured or penalized by OS4CA staff, vendors, or attendees for exercising this right.
-
Staff visually inspect items before they reach the signing line. If prohibited materials are identified, you'll be asked to remove the item before proceeding.
-
If you refuse to comply, our Safety Team will be notified immediately. Safety personnel may remove the item and revoke your access to the event.
-
Repeated or severe violations can result in a temporary or permanent ban from future OS4CA events.
These rules will be strictly enforced. Any infractions WILL cost you the offending items and may cause expulsion from the event and the event’s public spaces without refund.
All decisions made by the staff regarding the Autograph Policy are final.
Please note that the Autograph Policy is subject to change and may be done so without advance notice. Prohibited items may be updated at the discretion of the Director of Programming & Guests.
