Industry Exchange Program (IEP)

by OS4CA

A Program of

The Industry Exchange Program (IEP) connects fellow conventions, event producers, and community organizations through reciprocal, in-kind partnerships. Each exchange gives both sides a presence at the other’s events, a direct line to the people who run them, and a shared audience that grows in both directions.

IEP is a program of the Local, Individual, & Neighborhood Connections: Unity Platform (LINC|UP), OS4CA’s home for community development and local collaboration across Oklahoma.

Who is it for?

  • Conventions & fan events, from first-year shows to established names.

  • Management companies & producers looking to reach new audiences.

  • Nonprofits & cultural organizations with aligned or complementary missions.

  • Programs & institutions interested in professional collaboration with OS4CA’s events.

Organizations participating in the Industry Exchange Program engage in a mutual exchange of access, insight, and visibility, with the goal of strengthening events and community initiatives on both sides.

What We Exchange

Every exchange is mutual. Depending on event scale and availability, each organization can offer the other:

  • Exhibitor table or designated exhibitor space

  • Badges or credentials for participating staff

  • Staff hospitality (food for table staff) access, when available

  • Behind-the-scenes access to event operations and planning

  • One-on-one time with key staff

  • Cross-promotion across event channels and audiences

  • Event badges or VIP memberships for your charity auction

No two exchanges have to look the same. The scope is set together, sized to what each event can realistically offer.

The IEP Partner Community

The exchange doesn’t stop when the weekend does. Every IEP partner and select staff are welcome to join the OS4CA IEP Community, a private, year-round space where we work alongside each other instead of in isolation.

Inside the community, partners can:

  • Compare calendars and avoid scheduling on each other’s dates

  • Trade advice on vendors, venues, volunteers, banned persons, and everything in between

  • Coordinate cross-promotion and shared appearances

  • Get direct support for your exchange through a dedicated Help Desk channel for your organization

Organizations still exploring the program are welcome in the community’s Prospects Lobby, where you can meet current partners and ask questions before committing to an exchange.

How It Works

  1. Submit the IEP Consideration Form. Tell us about your organization, your events, and what you’d like to exchange.

  2. Hear back within two weeks. OS4CA staff review each submission for mission alignment and timing.

  3. Shape the exchange. We work out the details together: which events, what space, how many credentials, and what promotion.

  4. Put it in writing. Each exchange is confirmed in a Writ of Intent & Understanding signed by both organizations, so everyone knows what to expect.

  5. Join the community and show up for each other. Exhibit, attend, promote, and stay connected year-round through the IEP Discord.

Sponsorships, Prize Support, and Donations

IEP exchanges are in-kind and reciprocal. Requests or Offers for sponsorships, prize support, or donations beyond Event Badges/VIP Memberships for Charity Auctions are handled by OS4CA’s Department of Partners. Let us know in your form submission and we’ll connect you with the right team. Or, if that's all you're looking for, find out more info here.

Why Participate?

We all get stronger when the we talk to each other. IEP opens the door to shared audiences, honest operational insight, and working relationships that last well past a single weekend. Whether you’re building your first convention or your fifteenth, or you're an organization looking for event support, there’s something to learn from the organizers across the aisle.

If you’re interested in participating in the Industry Exchange Program or exploring cross-promotion opportunities, please complete the IEP inquiry form to start the conversation.
